If your company qualifies for a USTAR project (please review what requirements your company needs to meet to qualify here) then WSU faculty members and students can assist you. Depending on your product/service faculty members and students can help with:
- Product development
- Prototyping
- Testing and other product specific needs
Along with the university’s faculty and students, USTAR staff members at WSU can facilitate the development of your product or service by providing strategic thinking and tools such as:
- Market/Opportunity analysis
- Business plan development
- Patent research (if applicable)
- Industry networking
- Grants for prototyping, testing and other product-specific efforts
USTAR has launched the Technology Commercialization Grant program in yet another effort to bring innovative new technologies to market from Utah’s regional public colleges and universities. With a typical award size of $30,000, these grants will assist faculty to prototype, test, assess markets, and commercialize new products and services in high-growth markets. |
